going blonde

Hi All
I'm new to burlesque and I've been considering going blonde for awhile now. i have short wavy hair. i think it'd be cool, sorta Marilyn Monroe. I was light blonde about 8 years ago, but I got sick of it. Just wondering what colurs you burlesque gals go for?
